Where I Stand
My services are available to any cause, campaign, or company promoting life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness as long as there is a solid ethical, logical, and evidentiary foundation underpinning that work.
Where I Stand
As a communications strategist working primarily in the political advocacy arena, I understand the importance of knowing the values of the professionals you collaborate with. I also recognize the power of the narrative techniques I use, and take the responsibility to use them for the highest good very seriously. Having worked with a variety of organizations, coalitions, issue and political campaigns, I’ve experienced both the best of what happens when people come together to address vital issues, as well as the life-threatening consequences of groupthink, deception, and demoralization. That’s why I prioritize ethics and evidence over ideology or partisanship. My services are available to any cause, campaign, or company promoting life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness as long as their work is grounded in solid moral principles, logic, and evidence. When I say that I serve those promoting life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, that means:
Life: I believe in the inherent value of all human life and the environment we inhabit, and support efforts to defend all human beings’ ability to lead healthy, dignified lives from conception until natural death.
Liberty: In keeping with my respect for the inherent value and dignity of all human beings, I support efforts to defend our civil rights, especially our freedoms of faith, speech, and assembly; full voting rights for all citizens; and equal opportunity in education, employment, housing, health care, and public places.
Pursuit of happiness: I believe in our freedom to pursue fulfillment, meaning, and pleasure as long as our pursuits don’t infringe upon others’ rights to life, liberty, or property. I joyfully serve clients whose products, services, and/or advocacy promote individuals’ and communities’ health and well-being.
While there is much of my past work that I’m honored and grateful to have contributed, there are also a few stances, and associated past writing and media appearances, that I sincerely regret. That’s what you’ll see me clarifying in the videos and notes below: lessons learned via things I once publicly promoted but no longer support.
Rejecting abortion, Embracing Life
In this video, I share why I'm now passionately pro-life, and what I wish I'd understood before promoting and participating in the abortion industry.
Pro-Civil Rights, Not identity politics
Some reminders and a warning: bad actors have weaponized identity, and our concerns about discrimination, to manipulate us into supporting other agendas.
Promoting truth, not groupthink
I’ll always help individuals and organizations resist political manipulation, but I no longer participate in networks and advocacy coalitions that claim to “fight disinformation.” Here’s why.
